And lots of great dessert places as well! as well a some great shopping, we always prefer street shopping to mall shopping and this is one great area to get it done in and then resting out feet with a great meal and drinks - TIP don't go during taste of the danforth it's impossible to truly enjoy all it has to offer (too busy)

If you can't find somewhere good to eat on The Danforth, you don't like food. Not only is the food good, it's healthy. Once you've eaten there are many shops to visit and bars to have coffee during the day or something stronger at night.

A terrific selection of Greek Tavernas boasting some terrific authentic Greek dishes! Shops everywhere - friendly - I LOVE going there. Check out the 'Taste of Danforth' held every year. Street closed and everyone mingles, noshes and drinks all in the name of GREECE! Ompah!

The Danforth is full of diversity. The Greek culture along with dozens of other cultures creates a melting pot of interesting people and a lot of great food. There is a festival every summer when the danforth is closed and it's a great time to sample the local cuisine and culture.

All along the Danforth are restaurants of many nationalities though especially Greek, plus ethnic shops, bakeries, and a general buzz of life. Especially nice in the late spring and summer. It's better to take public transit than to drive; parking can be very difficult, although improving as one moves east.
