Wonder what is going to happen to the houses though. What with all the erosion and the ever increasing incidences of hurricanes and the concomitant strong winds that batter our shores.

This is a great place for a stroll by Lake Ontario, especially at off season when the crowds are gone. The Bluffs are quite dramatic and a surprising feature of the Lake Ontario shoreline. The paths are well maintained and offer a pleasant stroll. Grab a drink and a snack while you're there.

The bluffs reminds me of being somewhere in Europe, it doesn't feel like Toronto or Scarborough. For a great day at the beach with some beautiful views, I highly recommend it.

Spectacular cliff on Lake Ontario. A nice park with a restaurant (limited menu), marina and beach. If it isn't over crowded by people insisting on feeding rice and bread to the geese and swans (signs tell you not to feed them), you can actually have a peaceful and relaxing visit. A short trail allows you reflect as you listen to the waves on the lake and the gulls above. Bring a camera because you never know what you might capture.
