Went on this tour from a Travelzoo 50% off offer. Was great tour, our guide was knowledgeable and funny.
Stopped at St.Lawrence Market for butter tarts (didn't know they are a Canadian thing) and the rest of our group (none of them Cabadian) tried out the pea meal/back bacon sammies.

Beer was not included in the cost, you had to buy your own at the various stops. Butter tarts and nachos were no additional charge and the history and information was enjoyable.

I'm not sure I see the value at full price, but we did have a good time thanks to both our guide and the group.

We signed up for the Kensington Market and Chinatown tour and Mike was a fabulous guide. Not only did we get the history of both of these neighborhoods but we also got some history of the city of Toronto and of Canada. We saw a lot and got a nice behind-the-scenes look at some great spots. We stopped for coffee and a snack, we sampled a coconut bagel, and got to chat with some shop owners. Mike was also able to give so many recommendations of other restaurants and other sites to see that when we finished the tour we felt we had a good game plan for the rest of our trip. I highly recommend Urban Adventures and also recommend taking a walking tour in any new city. It's such a great way to learn about a place.

My husband and I are visiting for our anniversary. We planned this tour ahead of time and are so glad that we did. There was quite a bit of walking involved, so if you aren’t able to do that, then this tour is not for you.
There were only 12 people plus the tour guide for this adventure. Our tour guide, Jordan, was great! He gave us so much historical information from the time we started, to the first location, and in between the three venues we were taken to. Jordan was very personable. All of the people in our group were fun. It was nice to talk to new people. We were the only people who were not from Canada. That was fun.

All three venues had great beers to try. The hardest part was deciding which beer. Jordan gave us his opinions on different beers, but it was up to each person to decide what they wanted to order. The beer was not included in the price of the tour, except for the last place, where we tried four different samples that Jordan chose.

I would suggest this tour for anyone who is new to the area, or just visiting. Honestly, if we happen to come to this area again for a visit, I wouldn’t mind doing another beer tour. It is well worth the cost.
The first picture is of something in the Distillery district, where we went for the last venue. The second picture is of Jordan holding the book that he co-wrote. He is a beer connoisseur, and knows so much historical stuff.

Fabulous tour , really good fun, great guide. Visited 3 very different bars/ pubs lots of choice of beers and food, met some great people, sampled way too much of the merchandise. It’s a great way to see the city make friends and generally have a good time. It’s an absolute must.

We spent a cool Saturday morning with Mike as our guide touring Kensington Market and Chinatown. Mike was very knowledgeable, entertaining and was able to accommodate our personal interests. He shared several "favorite" spots that we would never have found on our own. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested seeing the diversity of Toronto off the beaten path.
