This was a grand day out indeed! Think of going for an afternoon in the pub with your mates, but with mates you have just met that day. Mike was a great host, clever, informative, talkative, friendly and funny, the kind of guy you want to go for a beer with.
Great group of folk who were all into making the most of the day, and a great selection of pubs and of course the beer. I had a great time, Cheers!

Excellent Beer Makes History Better tour with Mike and a great bunch of folks. UK, Canada, USA. Some beer, some history, Lots of good humoured chat and tips for the rest of the trip. Brilliant 4 hours, and the rest. Thanks Mike for the local knowledge and fellow travellers for your company.

I did two tours back to back in one day. The Chinatown and Kensington Market then the Beer Makes History Better. Both were excellent. I had two different guides, Mike and Jordan respectively. Mike was super funny and made us all laugh whilst telling some of the history in Toronto. Kensington Market is incredible. Not at all what you expect from a regular market. Take the tour to see why. The Beer tour was relaxed and fun. Jordan is a beer expert having written 5 books about it. We made some good friends on the tour and continued on exploring Toronto's awesome beer scene into the night.

Hi rebeccaleepickett, thanks for sharing this great feedback. We are glad that you were able to enjoy two different tours with two different guides. It’s great that you were able to discover Kensington Market and learn some of the history along the way. We will certainly pass the kind words on to Jordan. There is no mistake that Jordan is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to beer. He has even co-written the Ontario Craft Beer guide! We are glad you made friends on the tours, that is one of the best things about taking an Urban Adventures tour. Make sure to check out some Urban Adventures in your own backyard, we have tours in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth & Cairns!

Mike was an engaging guide, keeping this two-hour tour so fresh that I wanted to continue for another two hours. I live in Toronto...and I know a lot about different corners of the city, but I still managed to learn some more about 'my' city from Mike. This is a good activity for tourists, but also for Torontonians who are looking for a unique experience.

Had a great tour lead by Mike. What a wonderfully eclectic area of Toronto! Lots of interesting facts about the history of Toronto & how these areas came to be what they are today. Thoroughly enjoyed & would highly recommend this tour to see parts of Toronto you probably wouldn't find on your own!

Hi Jennifer, thanks for sharing this amazing feedback. We are glad you enjoyed Kensington Market and experienced why it is one of the most diverse and eclectic neighbourhoods of Toronto. Hopefully you had time to go back and explore the market!
