“A must when in Toronto”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

We booked the "Kensington Market & Chinatown" tour and I can't recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Toronto. Our guide Jason met us (on a rather chilly November day) and it was just the three of us on the tour. We learnt so much about not only the area but Toronto in general and had a great time (especially stopping for delicious coffee and butter tarts in a beautiful cafe that we would never have found ourselves!). Jason is one of the best guides I have ever had on a tour and gave us so much information while making us laugh so much as well!
The area is well worth exploring while visiting Toronto and was great addition to an overall fabulous trip.

“Great tour to get started in Toronto”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

James is an absolutely excellent tour guide! I can't recommend him highly enough. The tour was not always for me - I found the history and general architecture parts interesting but some of the focus on the architecture of the bank buildings got a little boring for me - however as an overall experience the tour was fantastic and finishing at Steam Whistle with free beer tasting was awesome. It's great for getting your whereabouts in Toronto as well.

“Gotta check this out!”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

We had a great time with James as our guide on this tour of downtown Toronto. We learned about some of the architecture and history of this cool city. He kept us moving along and shared a wealth of information with wit and enthusiasm. We highly recommend this tour and look forward to taking another with Urban Adventures when we return to Toronto next year. It was the definitely a "high" light of our weekend adventure!

“History and beer - what could be better?”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

This was a great tour! Even though only two of us signed up, they didn't cancel, which was terrific because we got plenty of personal attention. Out tour guide, James, was great! We are "beer people", and he was very knowledgeable. We visited three bars, all with local craft brews available. Each bar had sample-sized draft beer available, so we were able to sample many beers without over indulging. James added a lot of Toronto history to the tour, especially in the Distillery District. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you can get James as your guide!

“Great time !!!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

The tour lasted about 3-3.5 hours and was well worth the small amount of money it cost. Our guide was very funny, polite, knowlegable and down to earth. Not only did we get to sample several high quality beers at multiple locations but our guide Jason taught us about the history of each of the beers. Along the tour we got to learn about the history of Toronto and view several landmarks and other note worthy locations. We also got sample some foods at the market. The next time my wife and I go to Toronto we are going to go on the trip again and would recommend it to anyone.
