Owner description: One of Toronto's premier architectural landmarks, this 750-foot-long, classically-inspired hall is the main juncture of the city's rail and subway transit systems.

Many coffee places and other stores to go and see if you have time between train or subway. Love the old historical building.

If this place is open during doors open do not miss it. It is a really great building and should be even better after the restoration.

Really, the hub of Toronto. Excellent starting point to downtown attractions, the metro, VIA, and GoTransit. Easy walking distance to St. Lawrence Market, the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, and the theatre district. Beautiful architecturally.

Although there is beautiful architecture, I am writing about the experience, not the view. This is the most un-user friendly outlet I've ever dealt with. For people who use it regularly, of course they know what they're doing. I took the GO train (lovely way to travel and save on parking in Toronto) from Burlington but travelling home was utter craziness. No helpful signage, no directions or instructions. There are automated kiosks where you can purchase your tickets but they said tickets to Niagara must be purchased at wicket. No hint as to where these wickets are. Once you get your ticket, it is unclear where you are supposed to wait or when your train will come. I learned you have to watch TV monitors for that information. As a destination for many international tourists, I can't imagine how people who don't speak English would fare (bad pun there). I had to ask for assistance several times and was frustrated nearly to tears. This was a year ago and I'm planning to go back in a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll get where I need to go with less confusion! One worker did say that things would be better after renovations are done, so we'll see...

you can pretty much take the subway, bus train, or GO bus to anywhere.
It's actually really clean and easy to find your way around. However you have to cross the street to get to the GO busses and there doesnt seem to be a direct connection to Greyhound or any tour buses... these are by the Eaton Center so a bunch of subway stops away.
