The Beaches have been a place we love going to in the summer, fall or spring. Always things seem to be going on and the music and ambience is wonderful. Lovely little shops and restaurants. Truly enjoy our days here. Great park areas too.

Walking, biking, jogging, shop-diving (a lot of small off-beat shops along Queen East) or just sunbathing - the Beaches are a place to be in warm weekend day if you're stuck in Toronto.

Lovely shops and eating places. Beaches clean and the lake is beautiful. Surrounded by big houses and a sturdy boardwalk. Lots to do and see, or time just to sit with a coffee and read the papers. Miles of lovely walking along the front, and beautiful scenery.

Loved the walk along the beach ( even though the cool breeze off the lake was chilly ) there is a designated cycle lane as well as a wide broad walk .Range of people enjoying themselves mums with youngsters ,families cycling ,dog walkers ,runners .So peaceful so near a large bustling city ,easy to get to using public transport .Tennis courts and a bowling green ,children's play areas plenty of grassed areas with seating to relax or people watch.Lots of nature enjoyed watching swans on the lake ,squirrels and lots of bird life .
Wandering back up to the main road some which interesting buildings ( expensive !!!)The walk along Queen East as far as the Water treatment works range of shops ,cafés ,bars etc

I would not go out of my way to visit this area although the walk was fine but upkeep of the area was sketchy, the restaurants seems down scale at least as much as I could tell from the street. The parking as in most of Toronto is problematic with visitors and residents vying for space. Thus I have checked it off my list as a done but not enjoyed.
