“Good place to stroll and shop in outdoor setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014

This is where i grew up in the 60'-70's. It was a quaint 'village' at that time with interesting shops, fruit stores and meat markets. This high rent area has changed that somewhat and the feeling is not quite as quaint. It is still a nice place to shop with some European stores still surviving.
The Humber river park and High park are to the West and East of this area. Nice for walking.

I love to go to Bloor west village, you have lots of different shops, great experience, love all the different types of food, it's so nice to walk, I go there quite often, and still find it be exciting. give yourself at least 3 hours and you should be good.

“One of Toronto's Best Areas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2014

Bloor West is a great village filled with a diverse array of shops and places to eat. It's a nice walk and great place to visit if you're looking for lunch or coffee. Unfortunately my favourite Bloor West destination, Chapters Runnymede (a converted theatre bookshop) has recently closed. Is a great idea to combine a visit to Toronto's beautiful High Park with Bloor West Village. An area of Toronto I keep returning to!

“Great area for shoppingor just walking and looking around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014

Great shopping, you can find many boutiques selling clothes, shoes, sports gear, health food, lots of coffee shops, bakeries, pubs and restaurants. It is always busy but I love that! It has around 400 businesses on a 3 km stretch. Love it!

“A lovely walk on a Sunny day.”

A very scenic area right next to High Park. Not a great street for shopping, but a lovely place to go for a meal or a few drinks.
