“Small town life in Toronto”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Pick up some groceries from the supermarket and hop into the green that is High Park, Bloor West Village is a great place to escape downtown Toronto. With several restaurants and bars to hang out, you will enjoy your shopping even more. And there's plenty to shop with all the stores. On my first trip to T.O. this was the area I got to know best. Downtown Toronto is awesome yet totally different. A vibrant metropole where you'll spend hours of shopping, walking and sightseeing. The Village and its small town feeling gives you a little extra when you're in town, especially for a longer period.

“Childhood Memories”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

This area is great to walk around with family or friends. Perfect way to spend a relaxing Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Wonderful cafes and bakeries along the way, a personal favourite is Bread and Roses. If you are looking for something more upscale, no restaurants will do that kind of justice in this area. However, if you are looking for a casual meal with a great homey feel, this is the area for you!

“Walk, Check out something, walk! Enjoy the variety!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

Spent a great afternoon walking this area checking out the wide variety of shops, every type, from books if you love books like I do, unique shops, cloths, stop for ice cream, a cold drink, or maybe buy some delectable pastry for later! Had a great afternoon of walking, great area to visit!

“Shop but go elsewhere to eat ...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

Bloor West has lots to offer. Great bakeries, good shopping and wonderful atmosphere that's very family friendly. There's no shortage of strollers in this neighbourhood. It has decent places to eat of the pub variety but nothing too exotic or anything to write home about.

“Village in the City”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

Bloor West Village is an excellent selection of small shops and cafes with a few great bars. There is everything you need here and can walk everywhere especially through High Park. Dine shop and walk strolling along at your leisure. Also a great pace to live.
