“Great shops, wonderful vibe”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

A little further north in Toronto, this is a wonderful up-market shopping district in Toronto. Take the yellow subway line to get there.

“Eastern European Flair in Nice High-Class Neighbourhood !”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

It's a stretch of Bloor St. West just west of HighPark and stretches in a straight line up to Jane Street....that's about 8 blocks walking. The strip has a full selection of every type of store available, without any big box outlets, except for a Chapters book store. It's clothing, gifts, groceries, pharmacies, jewellery, restaurants, banks, art galleries, furniture, hair salons, movie theatre just to name a few. Metered parking on both sides of the street and more than ample parking in various public lots down the side streets on the north side. You can get to either end via Bloor/Danforth subway from Runnymede or Jane stations. A visit to Toronto is not complete without a walk along Bloor West Village.

“Nice neighbourhood :)”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

I grew up around this neighbourhood and its a great little area. Its a strip along Bloor from about Runnymede to Jane station ( a little bit longer than that). Wonderful cute shops, a couple bars, and some delicious restaurants. Not too much happening here on a weekend night but a lovely area to walk around in the early evening or during the day. Very family oriented, very safe.
Very close to High Park so I'd recommend taking a walk around the area, stopping in one of their gourmet grocery shops/delis/bakeries, picking up some snacks, and walking over to High Park to have a picnic on a nice summer night.
High Park also has Shakespeare in the Park which is a summer production so check that out as well!

“Fun place to visit while in Toronto”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

We accidentally stumbled upon this town during a trip to Toronto and instantly fell in love. Great place to walk around, shop, or grab a bite to eat. There are lots of friendly people walking around, and it seems as though many people walking down the street know each other. Many eateries to choose from, and the one we chose was amazing and well priced. There are also lots of fruit stands with great produce (and great prices). If you go to Toronto and realize that the hustle and bustle of the city is not your speed, check this place out.

“The best place to shop!”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

Every Sunday morning I go to Bloor West Village to shop for my fruit and vegetables, bakery items, and fresh flowers. The atmosphere is great. Surprisingly the fruit and vegetables are cheaper than at the big box stores as are the beautiful fresh flowers. I love going there, it is a lovely start to my week.
