“Just a quick stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

We stayed here for one night while in the city seeing a show at the Ed Mirvish theatre. It's in a great location close to everything. 5 minute walk to restaurants, and then 5 minutes further to the theatre. If planning on doing some shopping at the Eaton Centre, it's literally a 2 minute walk out the back entrance, and you're there.

Parking was $30 for hotels guests, which is pretty standard in the city. It's covered underground parking, so it's not too bad. Just remember to take your room key with you to swipe to get out of the parking garage, if you forget it you just have to use the ancient intercom to get the front desk to let you out. Lesson learned. No big deal.

Room was clean, and comfortable. We had no complaints at all. Would stay here again for sure.

Room Tip: Higher floor for a better view.

Spent a night here as we were delayed at YYZ overnight. Traveling with our 4 year old we decided to book this hotel and let her visit the Disney store in the Eaton Centre, have a swim in the hotel pool, etc. Just needed to get away from airports.

We did not spend much time in the room as we were in Toronto for roughly 20 hours. Our room was OK. Not the most modern. Staff were friendly. Wifi is way overpriced. The pool was small but ok for small kids.

The biggest perk about this place is the convenient location. Visiting TO in the summer when the weather is much better we would probably decide to stay somewhere a little nicer.

Much like all of the other reviews the hotel was nicely situated in downtown Toronto close to everything possible.
The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable, the only thing that was missing in the room was a small fridge which would have been nice.
The hotel has a walkway to the Eaton Centre so you do not have to walk outdoors to get to it which was welcoming seeing it was brutally cold outside.
The internet was free in the lobby but too expensive to get it in your room, I have stayed at hotels that were half the price of this hotel and got free wifi and a fridge.
Unground parking was $30.00 with in and out privileges, a bit costly but after all it is downtown so it is expected.
The front staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would probably stay here again in the future.

Went to the Marriott Eaton Center for business last week. Rooms were comfortable enough with the expected set up that is the norm in midrange business hotels ion Toronto.
So no comments on the room.
The location is great as you can walk to the Eaton Center, theatres and other nice attraction. We went for a show and just took a 10 minute walk form the hotel which was great.
Internet is still over $ 10 a day which is absolutely ridiculous and they price the premium service at $ 16.95 a day. No clue what this is as i stuck with the basic overpriced service.
Had dinner and breakfast in the Bistro. I would not bother to do so anymore as the food is mediocre , the breakfast buffet is totally overpriced at $ 27.00 dollars. $ 5.00 for a cup of coffee makes Starbucks look like a bargain.
Conclusions: I went to this hotel because my company paid for it. I would not go if I had to pay myself as the price of the room plus internet service plus breakfast makes the stay kind of too pricey for what you get.
I still wonder why these types of hotels do not offer the all inclusive stet up that lesser chains offer.

the hotel is situated in the heart of downtown toronto steps away from the subway station with bunch of restaurants around it and direct access to the eaton centre mall. I dont think any other hotel matches this hotel's location if you are visiting toronto!!!

ideal hotel for tourists for pleasure or business.

hotel staff is extremely friendly and polite, will definetely stay again!!!

Room Tip: go for the king guest room

We recently traveled to Toronto for the first time and ended up staying here. I am a Marriott Rewards member so I normally pick them for business travel.

We were very happy with this property. It was especially nice to be able to work to work using the underground PATH network since it was very cold and snowing outside. The property was very clean and just perfect for my business stay. Lots of great restaurant choices nearby.

Location is within walking distance of many government offices, the Eaton Center (shopping) is just next door, and many restaurants and entertainment venues are nearby. Convenient access to bus routes and the great subway system make a car unnecessary for most visitors. A bit longer walk gets you to the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) which has some outstanding permanent exhibits as well as traveling exhibitions.
The Concierge was able to direct us to some good Italian restaurants tucked out of the way, and helped us avoid the slightly tacky places that cater to tourists and the nearby student population of Ryerson university. You can eat fairly cheaply, or you can dine well, if you just ask around.
