“Great location, helpful staff, fantastic value”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

We planned to spend two weeks in Toronto and finding a suitable hotel in terms of comfort, location and cost was no easy task. After much research, we booked the Business Queen bedroom at the Bond Place Hotel and we were highly delighted.
Three minutes’ walk to Dundas Square and the Eaton Centre. Two coaches directly from and to the airport stop outside the hotel every hour throughout the day. Twenty four hour convenience store within 200 yards and, a large number of restaurants and takeaways within a short walk.
Room facilities include a large LCD television; inclusive Wi-Fi; very efficient air conditioner; refrigerator; iron and ironing board; constant hot water, shower with great water pressure; hair dryer; comfortable large sized double bed, large picture windows; lake view; ice machine along corridor; daily delivered newspaper; coffee maker with coffee and bottled water replenished daily; newly redecorated excellent en-suite with shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
Well-equipped mini-gym; three high speed lifts. Great front office staff, meticulous housekeeping staff. The only negative was that there was only one drawer and a small double hanging wardrobe. Then again, we did not want to pay for a large bedroom with loads of storage spaces.
Highly recommended, extremely good value for money and fantastic location.

...as I left the hotel early in AM , a gent approached me and asked me for "50cents...or a quarter...for coffee". He was tall and young and overtly muscular, so I was scared.
About one block away was a street preacher who quite frankly would have made Jesus reconsider whether or not to have been resurrected.
The room was small and like a Euopean hotel. The bathroom was actually slight above average. The service was good. All in all an ok experience, though I would not send mu niece there alone.

Nice hotel but rooms are small. 200 for 1 night is pricey. Clean and modern. Prking is a bit of a pain.

This was a disppointing stay. The hotel had recently been refurbished and the new decor was striking. But they forgot to upgrade the customer service at the same time. When we arrived there was a a long queue at reception and it took about thirty minutes to book in. The recption staff did not seem in a hurry. The cafe that was advertised as being in the hotel on its website was closed. Apparently there was a temporary breakfast option set up down in the basement; it was not advertised and we only found out about it as we checked out. It was the only hotel we stayed in during a three week stay in Canada where they charged for internet access. I think most of the guests were there as part of a group tour booking. If you are making your own arrangements I am sure you could do better.

I liked this hotel. I stayed during NXNE music festival and the free main stage was half a block from this hotel. The location is excellent. Eaton centre and public transport are right around the corner. The mattress was almost brand new, I always pull sheets back when I check in. Linens were clean and sparkling white. The bathroom is newly remodeled and very clean. We had a mini fridge in the room and extra pillows were already provided. There is a nice modern look and feel to the hotel and the A/C was chilly, a huge plus to me. I enjoyed this hotel.

We booked a hotel through Hotwire for a night while in Toronto to see The Beach Boys on June 19 2012.It turned out to be the Bond street hotel and what an unexpected surprise. The room was a bit on the small side but the decor was awesome and the room was spotless clean. All the staff were very friendly, they helped us find a great place for breakfast and got a cab when we needed it.We would stay here again and recommend it to everyone.Free internet and a continental breakfast would have been nice.

NEVER have I slept on a hotel bed as comfortable as this. The room, "recently remodeled" according to management, is small, but VERY comfortable. One of the reading lamps in the ceiling didn't work, and wasn't replaced during our four night stay, and the elevators malfunctioned once, but otherwise, a great hotel in the center of Toronto's "Times Square". No restaurant (it was still in construction) but plenty of choices right outside the door. Great concierge, but skip their promoted bus tour: Toronto's not the size of New York, and the subway's cheap and gets you around.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Dundas Square WILL BE NOISY if you like to sleep with windows open.
