Good location, value for money, quality of services. Excellent cleanliness. Only negative remark: total absence of vegan/gluten free options at breakfast The presence of a safe and a microwave in the room is not essential but would have been appreciated

After traveling and being up for almost 26 hrs. I was looking forward to a good night sleep! The room was okay the bed was fantastic but in the middle of April it was 21 and humid and there was no air-conditioning on and the room was unbelievably warm. Wanted to snuggle in and get cozy instead opened a window for air, listened to fire-trucks and traffic and slept with no covers. Glad it was only for one night!

I have stayed at this hotel at least once before. It is so close to a lot of great places to eat and drink, so it's very convenient. No downtown driving. Easy to get to from North of the city. FYI, valet isn't required. You can park at any of several other lots nearby and walk to the hotel if you are too cheap for the $18 or so for the valet. The valet guy was very friendly and he had our car ready to go the next morning for us. We even tipped him $10! God forbid! Can you imagine! And we're not exactly wealthy, but for good friendly service, being good polite Canadians, you tip.

The people at the front desk were cheery and helpful. We were a bit dumb. We had to call down for the WIFI password, after having just been told it, and then realizing afterwards it was written down and given to us. Then I went down to the lobby looking for ice instead of reading in the guest directory that it is on the 3rd floor. Duh.

But the valet guy was actually the one that said to me, yeah, it's on the 3rd floor, but I will get you some from down here to save you the trip. So he took my ice bucket into the back and came out with the bucket full to the brim.

The room was great! It was clean, the couch was comfortable, and the fridge kept my beer ICE COLD. The guys down at the lobby even brought my wife and her friends a bunch of wine glasses, by request.

The bed was comfortable, the temperature in the room was perfect, the alarm clock worked well, though we hit snooze about a dozen times.

It was just a great experience!

The cleaning lady the next morning even greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello.

The breakfast is your standard hotel stuff. Bacon, eggs, french toast, home fries, muffins, etc. No surprise there, and what else did you expect? Gourmet?

I had all of the above, twice! Nothing to complain about at all. The coffee was good. The service was great. I don't get people that complain about a free breakfast. It's the same stuff you would have at home. Unless of course you're some stuck up snob that likes things done in a very specific way. And of course, our needs are easy. No allergies, not picky about having extremely healthy things, don't give a darn about gluten, and we eat meat and pretty much anything else. So, if you have special needs, then I guess you would have something to complain about. But, we were fine. We're easy to please. Maybe cause we're just simple folk from the country.

Anyway, we had a great experience as I mentioned already and I would stay at this place 1000 times if I could. Love it.

Keep up the great work! Keep smiling! Don't let complainers get you down! There's just people that love to find something to complain about. They even search far and wide, deep down in the nooks and crannies for just one damn thing to have something bad to say. But there's nothing but good things for me to say about this place.

Cheers to everyone!

We hope to see you again someday soon!

Room Tip: Pony up the dough, and get the King suite. Our friends had a Queen, and they were very envious of our large room. They designated it the party room.

Good location to Sunnybrook medical center where I was on business. Being a Best Western, you should not expect deluxe accommodations and you won't get that here. For example, you get a free hot breakfast but the food quality isn't there. And the cheap bed mattresses may be a challenge for light sleepers. That said, it is a decent place to stay with an outstanding, attentive staff. Easy walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shopping in this North Toronto neighborhood. Overall, a good value for the money as long as you're not super-picky about accommodations.

This is a good quality hotel. Rooms are in great shape and the breakfast is very good. The location allows for a good nights sleep and traffic noise is very minimal. Also, there is offsite parking available within two blocks. I would recommend Best Western Roehampton to anyone staying in mid-town Toronto.
