I had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. We simply loved the great service from the front desk and bell staff! They went the extra mile and had good suggestions for trendy new eats.

The decor is sleek and modern very trendy! The location is great for the summer time as we like to walk to our appointments and meetings in the sunshine! Close to the Fininacal district and right in the Entertainment district.

Tip* I would sugest to get the best deal to call the hotel direct.

The hotel is beautiful. There's a parking place to the gests, restaurants, and a frendly staff. It's near the CN tower and the Rogers stadium. Also near the theaters and restaurants. But at first, when we did the check in, late at night, we got a room in a low floor with no view. That's ok, we didn't mind, just got a little frustrated. But in the morning we realized that there was watter all over the bathroom floor and the sink faucet was loudly noise when we tried to turn it on. We've asked to chage to another room. And, althought the very good treatment we had from the front desk, we got another room with problems. It was dirty, the bathroom door didn't lock and the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. Again, I've talked to the front desk staff, and got I really good surprise when we came back from our day activities and was replaced to a very comfortable suite, with nice view and a lovely appologise card from de front desk manager. At the end, we were really glad with our stay. Hope they could give the same treatment from the begening.

Room Tip: Don't get late at night.

The Hyatt Regency in Toronto, despite being in a fantastic location is somewhat lackluster compared to other hotels in the downtown core. Service was fine, but not fantastic. Hotel restaurant and bar should be skipped in favour of much better within easy walking distance. Decor was tired somehow even though it looked like it was recently upgraded. I used priceline to get three nights at $75 and I'm glad I didn't pay more. Made up for the $25/night parking fee. No tub. No spa. Don't order the Starbucks coffee to your room. Go downstairs and get it for half the price. It's in the lobby and frankly, it's the highlight of the hotel.

We went to Toronto for 2 Red Sox games and chose this hotel because it was close to the Roberts Center. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The issue were the rooms, they lacked I hesitate to say amenities because they are missing basics. There was no real bureau, instead they had 4 1' by 1' cubes, there was no soap dish, grab bar or even no hook behind the door in the bathroom. There was no place to put your shaving kit pr anything else. The room was nice looking with a large flat screen TV but looks like it was designed to feed someones ego rather than to be a functioning hotel room.

Fully renovated hotel. Rooms are small but very up to date. Pool only open in the summer. Very close to the Roger Centre and Entertainment District. Next door to the new TIFF. Lots of good restaurants within minutes including across the street.

The hotel is located in the Entertainment District, and there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

The lobby/bar area of the hotel is very busy, trendy and was a great spot for a drink.

The room was very modern, though it did lack some functionality. There was no mirror aside from in the bathroom (and a small mirror/shelf high above the bed).

The bathroom was small and lacked space for hanging up towels. There was also no fan in the bathroom, which is annoying after you shower, especially since there wasn't another mirror in the main part of the room. There was also a frosted glass window in the bathroom that faced the beds, which is a bit strange for a room with two double beds.

Also, the room had a large flat screen tv with no HD channels.

There is a rooftop pool and patio area, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to use while I was there!

It was a good hotel for a night, and I would stay here again. I wouldn't want to stay in the room for a week due to the size of the bathroom and lack of storage space. We got a great deal on the room through Priceline.

We stayed in Hyatt Regency toronto for a couple of nights in April! and we just loved it.
Skeptical initially by the not so good ratings, we were totally taken by surprise as our stay turned out to be really wonderful.
The room we were given was awesome with nice view of CN tower.
Location is very perfect on King Street in downtown toronto and public transport at arms reach. This hotel is steps aways from CN tower, Rogers Center and other downtown attractions. If you are looking for night life in downtown toronto, you wont find a better hotel.
The full breakfast was on par with some of the best hotels in North America.
Sandeep at the front desk was a great guy and very helpful.
Nice fitness center but swimming pool was closed.
Parking is expensive ( I think around $24) but you can find a number of cheaper options for parking around.
