“Loud, proud and a super fun crowd!”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

This place is just fun! The food is great. I love sharing food and i love japanese so im literally like the little emoji with the hearts in its eyes when i find somewhere like this! every time i go to this place i lol at the couples trying to enjoy a romantic meal because its so freeking loud you can barely hear yourself think, especially at the bar. They wear freaky masks while they cook all the food and the smell is just awesome. i even want to eat things on the menu like jelly fish and chicken knee cartilage (yeaaa you can eat that apparently!?)

The only thing that kinda sucks is that if you dont book they put you in this cold... waiting area. like cattle. its outside and they dont bring you drinks (they used to) and they give you like one tiny heater. thats kinda the only down side to this place. mind you once ive sunk a few 'small' beers (they are bloody massive) i usually forget about how they stuck me outside and froze me to death a few hours earlier!

I like that they keep serving till super late also. We were in there at about half 11 and they were still serving food which is awesome.

guys, go check this place out. especially if you have a birthday or something coming up. its so fun!

“Excellent Service, Great Food”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

My first time to eat in this restaurant. It is loud but FUN LOUD. Service is excellent and food is great. I had the Kinoko Bibimbap, Saba, Takoyaki, Ebimayo and finished the meal with BLACK SESAME ICE CREAM. My first time to try this ice cream and this will be added to one of my favourite flavours. Next time I will make sure to make a reservation as we had a one and a half hour wait before we were seated. It was worth the wait though.

“Great Fun and Wonderful Food”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

This was our first experience in an Izakaya restaurant and we loved it. The staff and servers are friendly and helpful and the loud greetings and goodbyes are a hoot! The food was also delicious. We shared 5 small plates. Four of them were excellent and one, a scallop special was tasty but a bit burned. And make sure to save room for a slice of green tea cheesecake. FUN FUN FUN!

“What great fun!!”
Reviewed January 14, 2014 via mobile

Heard about this place from a friend. Fun atmosphere. The staff kept shouting out things we didn't understand. Food was very delicious; some are like tapa portion. Very different than the typical Korean/Japanese sushi places. Busy busy place so make reservations! Definitely worth a try!
