“Ideal Location....that's about ALL,”

A pleasant looking lobby.....but lacking in customer service. No one smiles here or welcomes you. I was 'told' to tell my friends to be quiet while I was checking in because another employee was on the phone. They weren't screaming just excited to see each other as it had been almost 2 years. Rather rude and a very bad first impression.
The room was adequate....hardwood floors, so a little loud, but overall pleasant decor.
The doors to the hotel lock after 11:30PM so you have to use your key to get in. It barely works and takes about 20-30 tries before you finally get in. There is someone at the front desk---starring at you blankly while you continue to try and try.
A great location really.....but zero amenities or conveniences. This hotel could be SO much better if they'd employ some people with better attitudes and the ability to smile. So...if you're looking for a decent priced downtown hotel...where you just need to lay your head....but aren't bothered by dull staff and zero amenities....then I'd say stay here....the beds were comfy after all.

Went to this hotel on a business trip and decide to give a try and booked a Deluxe king room. The price is good but; No warm welcome, No bar, No restaurant, No decent coffee in the room, No room service, No glass in the room and, finally No decent sleep as all Deluxe room are facing a noisy street and the room is Not sufficiently soundproof.

Next morning, I decide to cancel the rest of my stay. On check out, I provided the front desk the explanation for my early departure. She did not really care about the explanation, process my invoice and pick up the phone to advise the housekeeper that the room has being check-out.

In a nutshell, I do Not recommend that hotel.

My hubby and I went by train to the Big Smoke to see the Raptors. Found this gorgeous boutique hotel literally around the corner from the train station. Easy to walk anywhere ot short cab rides. King size bedroom was tastefully decorated....we asked to be moved up a few floors because the flags adorning the building were right outside our window and because it was windy were quite sqeeeky - this was done without hesitation. The restaurant downstairs is fabulous to have a yummy breakfast - staff friendly and professional. This is definitely our "go to" Toronto hotel from now on!

The welcome was warm. The room was ready, even tho' it was two hours ahead of check-in time. The room was clean, altho' not as spacious as a Holiday Inn. Nice touch is that wifi is free.

You're right in the middle of everything in Toronto's financial district, and on the east edge of the "Entertainment District."

You'll enjoy your stay

Very Disappointed with this Hotel. The pictures look so nice and the reviews seem to be very good.

I'll start by first saying that the Staff were very Pleasant, Curtious and Extremely Helpful, they get 4 Stars.

The room was not very clean. There was dirt & dust on almost everything. The bed linens were stained and not very clean looking.

The rooms appear to have been renovated not to long ago, but not very well done. The cheap laminet floor flexed and squeaked with each step. The caulking around the tube was completely broken and is a invitation for mould. Not good at all.

Room Tip: Pay a little more and stay at a real hotel.

Compared to other hotels we've stayed at when my boyfriend and I spend the night in Toronto, this one was by far the best. We booked a deluxe king room. It was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate.

We stayed in room 801 so it faced Yonge Street and the elevator was right beside our room. The noises of the nightlife and street below didn't bother us. Then again, we're two people in our 20s.

I would definitely spend another night here next time I'm staying downtown and recommend it to others!
