“Everything You Need”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Queen Street (more so the West side) is home to galleries, boutique stores, concert venues, bars and trendy restaurants. Take the streetcar from Queen or Osgoode Subway Station for a unique view of one of Toronto's busiest and liveliest streets.

For those looking for Graffiti Alley, it's just south of Queen Street. Walk south along Spadina Ave and make a right into the alley behind the TD Canada Trust bank. Graffiti Alley spans from Spadina to Portland Street.

“Good area for younger shoppers”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Queen Street is a mix of eclectic small shops, restaurants, and bars. The main stretch is really from Church St to a little past Spadina. Within that stretch is the big Eaton Centre and Bay shopping complex. These huge malls are filled with the regular chain shops. The shopping area is ideal if you have younger girls and teens.

“This is a long street.”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

From Parkdale to the Beach there are many shops restaurants and areas to explore. The main big box shopping is between Spadina and University. Check out the graffiti in the back alleys and make sure to stop for a coffee in one of the many houses on the street. Parking on the street but beware they tow after 3PM. Easy access by subway and a 24 hour streetcar.

“Downtown for the day”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Had a lot of fun checking out Queen St. West. Abraham's Antiques was jam packed with interesting curios, how could you not find something to love? Lunch at a little Italian bistro down the street watching the crowd go by. Interesting shops and interesting characters on the street. Even saw a lady dressed up as batman!
