Even if you are a mild fan of the sport you have to visit this Hall. It is one of the most interactive, well laid out Halls in all sports. The history, items, trophies, displays ...... are amazing. Constantly being updated and changed. Be prepared to see present and past hockey greats walking the Hall. If the players live it you will too!

My second visit on induction weekend. Don’t bother buying the expensive weekend package. The Q&A fan forum (started by Gretzky) is the only part of the weekend worth paying for. The rest you can piece meal yourself and save money. (And get better seats for the Friday game). See the Hall Of Fame. It’s a great one.

This was my first visit to the hockey hall of fame. The building houses an impressive amount of hockey memorabilia including but not limited to game shirts, sticks, pucks, goalie masks, and trading cards. The display cases which house these items provides the viewer with a background of the various items and their significance to the game of hockey. Visitors can view two different videos, play interactive games, and participate in simulated broadcasts of games. A separate room upstairs in the hall of fame houses the Stanley Cup and all of the other major trophies associated with hockey. You can also have your picture taken with the Stanley Cup for a price. At $20 for the price of admission the Hockey Hall of Fame is good value for the money.

First I'll say that we got lucky because it was the new NHL induction weekend and they had Stanley Cup on display. But for the price ($40CAD a couple) I felt was a bit pricy. It's smaller than I would expect for Canada to celebrate its Hockey history. In the colder months when arrive with a coat there isn't a coat check. You are left either rushing through the museum or carrying your coat the whole time. The exit to the museum directs you into the gift shop, cleaver! Pasquale is wearing his very pricey hoodie here!

For an entry fee of $20 (the average cost of most entry fees in Toronto) you get room after room of memorabilia from years gone by until this past year. You should allow 90 minutes especially if you have a favourite team or player. Stanley cup rings to customized goalie masks are on display. There are a couple of interactive sections one that includes a seating area the only place to sit in the whole venue. For $10 plus tax you can have your photo taken with the Stanley Cup - they will print out 3 photos and you also receive a digital copy. The various hockey trophies including Stanley are in a special room which has a beautiful ceiling. The building used to be a bank so they use the large safes to display trophies. This is located close to Union Station and is on Yonge Street.

It has everything for NHL lovers, Cups, Vintage T-shirts and accessories from all legendary players. It is located in downtown and near to YYZ airport, parking is hard to find but NHL shop is located near the corner and easy to find :)

Interesting place if you're keen about hockey. Parking is difficult as it's right downtown Toronto. Best to take the TTC or go and eat a Fran's, as you can park beneath their building for $3.00.

Kids love the fun interactive hockey games. Habs dressing room was unique. Good experience overall. Souvenir shop is overpriced.
