There used to be a similiar building in the old PNE fairgrounds in Vancouver. This is the central station location now and if your big on Messier or any of the older greats then this is your shrine. I liked the black and white movie footage when players did not wear any pads or helmets.

Since my brother is a goalie and both my sons played Hockey I very much enjoyed the Hall of Fame. I thought it was well done with a history of hockey. There is an interactive area to shoot pucks and also play hockey on line. Very Enjoyable memories were brought back. I only had limited time but you could easily spend a few hours if you read the displays.

I went to the Hockey Hall of Fame without knowing anything about hockey. Unfortunately it seems to be a place for people who know the sport and its players, most of it was pictures of the players and uniforms and props they used. For me it was a waste of money. The place looked organized and well taken care of.

Always a must visit while in Toronto. You aren't a real hockey fan unless you have your photo taken with the Stanley Cup. This was my first time going in a few years, the only disappointment was they changed the goalie in the interactive shooting simulator. It's now some bland generic 3D goalie instead of Ed Belfour. Other than that, it was another fantastic trip!

The Hockey Hall of Fame is perfectly located in the heart and centre of the hockey universe, downtown Toronto! It is a magnificent piece of architecture that does really do an awesome job of representing the whole of the game. From it's early beginnings to the NHL to women's hockey to international hockey, there is every aspect of the game well represented at the HHOF. The HHOF is well laid out for patrons, well marked and eay to follow. From the current goalie mask exhibit to the Grand Hall, there is a sign to direct you in a pretty logical order to see the whole Hall of Fame. The international game is well represented and hockey's global reach. I found this to be very fascinating and led to the majority of my time spent here, looking at the different jersey's from each member IIHF team, it's great!! The Grand Hall with HHOF inductees and NHL annual trophies, including the holy grail that is the Stanley Cup, is crazy awesome. Located in what was a bank vault, the trophies and the inductees are on display perfectly for people to admire and be inspired. The interactive portion of the HHOF is awesome, the shooting, playing goalie and broadcasting is great. The HHOF is great for sport fans, not just hockey fans. When in Toronto, it is a must for anyone that has a passing interest in hockey, not just hockey lovers. With lots of food choicess nearby, you will not be disappointed!
