“Favorite spot in Toronto”
Reviewed November 9, 2013

I've only moved here about a month ago but I can already say that High Park is my favorite place hands down. Combined with a visit to Cabin Fever Collective it is my favorite thing to do. I live near Dundas West subway and luckily I can walk there but it's also conveniently close to the subway (Keele or High Park). It's a big park (well, to my standards :) ) and you can take different routes every time. I especially love the dogs off leach part because I miss my dog at home terribly. And also the western pathway near the water leading to the Grenadier Pond, more so on a sunny day. When it's sunny the higher parts of the park are excellent to watch sunset and you'll see many people enjoying this opportunity for some photoshootin'. The small zoo is a nice little extra with passionate people keeping it (and the animals) alive. If you live downtown or just somewhere very urban this is an excellent place to come and relax and enjoy nature.

“Cherry Blossom Madness ”
Reviewed November 8, 2013 via mobile

Although I do not live in Toronto and have only been to high park once it was an awesome experience. It was a beautiful, summer day with tons of people there to see the cherry blossoms are their peak. A very relaxing atmosphere with plenty of space to sit down by the water or hike around the woods. Definitely a park worth visiting for the out doorsy type!

“A Wonderful Place for Adventurous Soul”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

Right in the heart of Toronto, you can escape the city for the moment. Surround yourself in the 'gift of nature' with stroll around the path and bi-ways. Pack a lunch, and walking stick, let your soul connect with nature again. Amazing clean and perfect for a walk with your pet companion.

“5 minutes from home”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

a park within the city, better than Central Park, (you won't get mugged), lots of bike/walking trails and more peaceful adventure in the woods. a delightful break from the hustle and hubbub of the big city.
