If I was visiting Toronto from abroad I wouldn't feel like it was necessary to visit High Park unless you were in the mood for a picnic, or if it was May and the Cherry Blossom's were in bloom. This is really a better place for Torontonians to escape the city for a bit. They have a large off-leash area for dogs which is nice.

Lots of parking, swimming, tennis and Shakespeare in the Park in the summer. Better signs and maps for finding your way around would be appreciated, trails were poorly marked. The speed limit for cars is too fast in the park. Almost got run over twice at stop sign cross walk. Better lighting would also be appreciated and more restrooms

This is a gorgeous park with plenty of trails to walk and space to picnic.

We went to see the cherry blossoms for the first time this year. They were stunning and the atmosphere was convivial. We will return again next year!

The park is easily accessible by public transport and car.

You feel as if you are in the woods, and you are just in the middle of the city. There is a small zoo for the kids to enjoy and a huge natural pond that goes back to around 20,000 years! Lots of fun for families, couples and even good for biking.

Beautiful park, lovely walking, a breath of green fresh air in the city! A bit tricky to get to but once there it really is an oasis and calm away from the noise and hustle and bustle. Lovely place to take a picnic
