This park is located in the western part of Toronto and if you want to get there you should take the subway and get off on High Park station. This park is really huge and you can do many things over there. My observations proved that many people prefer jogging or cycling in the park (they have all the infrastructure needed for it). There also many children in the park and they seem to love this place because they can feed gees, ducks, squirrels and other animals over there. Moreover in summertime kids can swim in the open air pool. There is one soccer field, one baseball field and several public tennis courts. If you like sport this place is for you.

Spent the day here travelling via foot, tram and tree! Ok the 8 year old chose tree transportation and the rest of us enjoyed a day of exploration. This is a park we frequent however, this day had a different feel - as though we were newbies. We parked by Colborne lodge and took a stroll - looong stroll but were not bored even a moment! The tram saved us by whisking us to the park, restaurant and zoo. We were all exhausted at the days end but the tram carried us where we needed to be and with a final nod to whatever ghosts reside at the Lodge we drove peacefully home from a wonderful day at High Park!

one of the finest parks in the world-offers many insights into nature right in the city and has more than enough room for any outdoors activity as well as some entertainment...

Love it all. The park has a zoo, tennis courts, a pool, a museum, a restaurant, evening plays in the summer, a maze, a fishing pond, etc. It's definitely a must see.
