Suffer from vertigo? I do, And the former "tallest free-standing building in the world" is an excellent opportunity to show off to your kids by jumping up and down on the glass floor 1,800 feet in the air - (the washrooms are located close by) If the glass elevator does not help you revisit your lunch, the outdoor observation deck will do the trick. If you have a stomach of steel - try the walk-about - where you walk on the OUTSIDE of the observation tower suspended by ropes. Fun? Wow! The velocity of body fluids hurling from that distance should be calculated before stepping out into outer space. Note to self: Do not walk underneath the tower after lunchtime.

I've been up the CN Tower before but it is not anything spectacular once your up there. This time around, I went up the CN Tower by climbing up the 1776 stair steps that they open to the public once or twice a year for the CN Tower Climb to raise money for United Way! Definitely a most fantastic way to experience the CN T

A great place to visit with family and children of any age. There are several different price options so don't be turned off by the most expensive ticket since the inexpensive ticket will take you to the look out and glass floor. If you can buy your tickets ahead of time this would be the best option so you can skip the initial line where you purchase the tickets. Next, you wait for the elevators. The visit to the look out is worth the wait since the view on a clear day is priceless. If it is cloudy you would be wasting a ticket for the view, but the information about the CN Tower is exceptional. When I visited we only had a short window to visit and did not take advantage of the other activities such as the movie or motion theater ride. When you are ready to leave the look out keep in mind there is always a long line for the elevators. If you are on a time schedule prepare to stand in line for 20 - 30 minutes, it may be longer if you are visiting during tourist season.

Provides a great view of the city but is very expensive. I'm not convinced it's the best use of time or money.

We went early morning to avoid the queues and got through easy enough and it was worth seeing the city from the top on a clear day you can see for miles.
