The Harbourfront is located on Queens Quay. Most of Queens Quay is under construction for new streetcar tracks/Pan Am game prep. You simply cannot bring your car here without major frustration. Take the Bay St bus from Union Station south to the ferry docks. You can stroll across Queens Quay and take in the sights. At the end of the day you can get bus from Spadina.

Look for 2 for 1 coupons for the boat cruises in the tourism guides (Mariposa and Harbour Tours)

There is a Sobeys, Swiss Chalet, Starbucks, Shoppers Drug Mart, hot dog vendors, coffee places, Tim Hortons, yummy gelato place, art gallery and a lovely Second Cup, Amsterdam Brewery and Pet Discovery Centre, There are festivals each weekend such as Taiwanfest and Hot and Spicy festival. Wednesday nights offers a free movie screening outside near the water. Perfect for families or couples.

The Music Garden is a peaceful Oasis. It's worth it to plan your trip walking from one side of Harbourfront (Bay St) but leave from Spadina. There is much to do but a whole lot of construction.

While in Toronto we made our way to harbourfront center for the hot and spicy food fest. There is so much to do there. We enjoyed live music from around the world as well as food and a large selection of hot sauces for sale. Yogapalooza was also on while in the area.

The waterfront area is beautiful with plenty to see. There were lots of boats going by, including ferries going to the islands. Planes were taking off from the airport. Our toddler could have spend a long time looking at everything. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction on the streets around the waterfront so not very easy to get to.

walking along the boardwalk is definitely relaxing, its away from the hustle of downtown and the breeze is great on a warm day. you won't find much in the way of food but its a nice place to visit. there are little art places, paws way where sometimes there are shows featuring pets doing tricks, and some outdoor concerts.

i'd recommend visiting the amsterdam brewhouse for late lunch or early dinner on the patio and checking out the vendors and walking around the area. if you are up it, walk to the distillery district and take in the views there and have a drink - its a scenic industrial area that will remind you of the cobbled streets of oxford or london, england.

Spent my last day in Toronto at Harbour Centre and there was a music festival. Beautiful. Highly recommended. Spend the day by the water.
