“Worth not having a restaurant attached!”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

This was recommended by a Toronton and what a find! Kate was our tour guide and she was fantastic! Our group consisted of myself and my parents plus a group of fairly rude 19 year old foreigners, but Kate was really good and getting them to at least pay attention, we sure did and loved this tour! A must for a visit to Toronto! And the beer is really good! If you have been to the Czech Republic...an excellent comparison!

“Great tour!”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

Staff were friendly and informative. Great value. I had the 10 dollar tour for that I got a free sample before and after the tour, a bottle of cold beer (it was a very hot day) during the tour, and a nice sturdy pint beer glass after. Plus of course the tour itself. The shop also sold good value items.

“A Toronto Must”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

We decided to go for a tour on a whim. This was a great idea. We went on a very informative and exciting tour. We got a beer to start the tour and when we finished. Very nice to see a company taking the extra steps for a quality product. The pride shows in there employees. It makes for a great hour. Well worth the time and money.

“Generous tastings and a lot of fun!”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

I spent a good hour in this mIcro- brewery, which is surrounded by an outdoor train museum. Very detailed explanations of the origin and workings of the brewery were accompanied by a good look at the machinery and bottling line, and several glasses of the Pilsener lager they produce. They have handily situated toilets which were much appreciated. Friendly staff who obviously enjoy working there and sharing the place with visitors. Anyone can drop in for a drink, and the tours are priced according to what souvenirs you want included, ranging from a green bottle opener to packs of beer bottles.

“Great Brewery Tour”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

I have now converted to Steam Whistle! The tour starts in a relaxing bar and there are 3 different prices for the tour. I bought the tour and 6 pack of bottles for only $15. You enjoy a complementary sample as you wait for the tour to begin and you can walk around looking at local artists contributions. The tour is very friendly and set up with headphones for easy listening. You begin by being handed a bottle of beer for the tour. The tour guide takes you through the brewery, telling you the history, sampling the ingredients, showing the brewing and packaging process and the workforce set up. At the end you enjoy another complementary pint. Very friendly atmosphere, they are the greenest brewery in Canada and employees are refuted to be respected and respectful. Great Tour!
