Had dinner with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Décor was ok but it was loud and hard to talk. But the real disappointment was the food. The menu is very limited and expensive and the food was poor. Two of us had the duck breast and it was chewy and undercooked surrounded by fat. Two others had the ribeye and they said it was mediocre at best. Dessert consisted of 3 options and the one we chose the Chocolate and Coconut cake lacked any great taste. The wine list was very expensive and did not have a great selection. To top it all off the waitress and the manager both had an attitude when my friend asked for a receipt for her payment. I really do not recommend this restaurant.

All five of us had delicious brunches. The menu had many great choices and none disappointed. Bustling room, good service and delicious food.

This was a lovely evening out with friends. We started at the Rooftop Bar and then made our way down to The Civic for dinner. At first blush, the menu seems limited and the menu item descriptions just don't seem to do it justice. We ordered three courses and each one was delectable. The food quality and presentation are fantastic. Not only does it look good, it tastes good too (better than good)!

We ordered the foie gras, heritage egg, halibut, fries, mushrooms, cavatelli, oysters and rib eye along with assorted desserts and drinks. We were very pleased with all of the menu choices. The portions were perfect. The drinks were well crafted, The aperol spritz goes down easy, too easy. Don't limit yourself to just an aperol, try the elderflower smash too. I think this place is a well kept secret, but it won't be for long. The ambiance was perfect for a night out with friends that were long overdue for drinks, conversation and good food. We were able to hear each other speak without having to talk over the noise or music. The service was prompt and attentive and very knowledgeable about the drink and menu offering. When I go back, I am going to definitely try the wine pairings. This is an excellent place for a business meal, date, special occasion or family meal. The seating is well spaced and comfortable. 2 Green P Parking lots less than a minute away. Easily accessible by TTC. Book your table now!

If you’re looking for a great brunch location that’s family friendly, this is the spot. The majority of tables are larger groups with lots of little kids. Menu items consist of brunch faves, with some Mediterranean influence. Highly recommend the hummus and poached eggs - plus the bottomless mimosas (only $16!).

Friendly staff and a lively atmosphere.
A reservation is a smart idea. Walking can likely expect to wait.

Had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. It is just such an interesting space and history. Lovely rennovations.
Food was excellent and portions generous. We had rib eye steak and organic chicken.
Good sides as well, and a nice select on the wine card. Will return soon.
