Located in downtown Toronto near the intersection of Yonge and Wellington.
We sat outdoors and there are umbrellas over the tables if you find it too sunny or hot.
The interior seemed quite dark; a good setting for a romantic outing.
I had the Penne Lido ($18.00) and my dining companion had the Rigatoni Della Casa ($14.00). Both meals were good. You can choose either a small or large serving, but we both found the small serving was adequate. The bread was excellent.
There were what appeared to be some spicy dishes on the menu, served with jalapeno or chili peppers, and while that does not appeal to me I am sure it would interest many diners.
Our main server seemed a bit distracted but several other employees were attentive to refilling water glasses, checking on the meal etc.
At a restaurant like this I expect a more professional greeting than "hi guys". This restaurant would not be described as upscale.
I was far from overwhelmed with the dining experience but I will try it again at some point.
