“Lunch at Arriba Restaurant”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

On July 15, two friends and I had lunch at Arriba. This was during summmerlicious so our expectations were not high. To our surprise the waitress was polite, attentive, helpful, knowledgable and very pleasant. Our watercress and watermelon salad was delicious and refreshing. We had perfectly grilled trout atop a medley of young, fresh vegetables. We each had a different dessert and can recommend all three, the bread pudding with chocolate in the centre was light and delicious. The panna cotta was smooth as silk, light as air and gently flavoured. The mango gelato too was delicious. This restaurant has a great view of the Rogers Centre. We really enjoyed our lunch and the pleasant atmosphere.

“Great View of Game”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Came to watch the Blue Jays while visiting Toronto as my boyfriend is a big sports fan. Made a reservation for a window seat, which was confirmed, but when we arrived there was a long line to be seated and the hostess informed me that the window seats were all reserved. I was upset as that is not what was communicated in my previous confirmation from the restaurant, however the restaurant only holds tables for 30 minutes past the reservation time, and one party did not show, so we were moved to a window seat. Service was slow, but there was absolutely no rush and we stayed and watched the whole game. Food was edible (nothing great), but for the price and quality, I much preferred it to sitting in the stands and eating a hot dog.

We ordered an app, two entrees and had 4 rounds of drinks and it was $140 with tip. Definitely a great deal for dinner, drinks and a baseball game!

“Great Marriott Burger!”

All was great that we tried. A decent variety of all types of food. Breakfast buffet looked good although I didn't eat - just grabbed coffee and juice.

“Ate here late on Friday June 14/13”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

I was impressed with how late this restuarant served food, it was after 11pm and they were still serving food. It is locted right inside the hotel, located right by Roger's Centre. Would definitely visit again, the staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Jays game and dinner”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

The food was excellent at this restaurant. The portions were good sizes, and it was very fresh and flavourful.
We had window seating, so we sat and enjoyed the Jays game while eating. We were there a total of four hours. Our server was very friendly and quick to take our orders and bring our food (although we asked her to stretch it out because we knew the game would last a while).
I bought the package on Life Experiences website. The reservation process was disappointing. I bought the package and called to make a reservation (two weeks in advance), and was told they only take three of those packages a day and they were already booked up. I wrote an email to the manager, who responded the next day and made an exception for us. He was great. But advice would be to make sure they will take you before buying the package (unless you don't care which night you go).
Also the manager on duty that evening was not friendly at all. She had a scowl on her face and I heard her talking down to the staff a couple times. She was the only unpleasant person in the restaurant. Value for the money was good because we got to see the game and eat dinner,
