The food was ok but for the price we paid, service was terrible. No one paid attention to us except the kind bartender! At the end of the meal when the time came to pay, the manager dismissed us by telling us he is too busy and has no time for us, then literally yelled at us when we asked a question about our bill. Excuse me for this price, I expect better service and manners, especially from management. Totally spoiled my night!

Expensive for what it is - a local Riverside/Leslieville place with admittedly quite nice decor.

The brunch isn't up to scratch because by the time you've made your plate up to include sausage and bacon - it's $20+. As for dinner, small menu pretending to be French, but no self-respecting French bistro would serve up the food in either the combinations nor price points 17 does.

It's ok - but not to our mind anything near the hype. There's better - and close by too.

it is an outstanding neighbourhood restaurant, but not really a destination kind of place. The food is very good, tasty and well prepared, but the portions are small so if you are a big eater be prepared to order more. There is an interesting wine list with a few good choices by the glass (mostly $11 for a 5 oz pour). Service was very good until the place filled up then dragged a bit.
The room is charming in a bistro kind of way, but is quite noisy when full. Dinner for 2 with 4 glasses of wine totaled $170 inc. tax and tip (we are not big eaters though).

I chose Table17 because of their web-site, it just looked cosy... and I never regretted the choice. The selection of food, the wine, the friendliness of the staff... just amazing! Highly recommended!
