This is a great bed and breakfast! Very clean and accommodating. The host is extremely nice. A great place to stay in Toronto! It is not extremely close to shopping etc. but the bus is very close and it is not a far bus ride!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the inn. We took a peek into other rooms and each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. Our bedroom and shared bathrooms were extremely clean (cleaned daily). All fixtures had an antique characteristic, looked and worked like new--the owner obviously put in a lot of work to update the 120 year old Victorian house. The owner was really friendly and was available when needed. We were welcomed to use the inn as a home--living room with internet access, kitchen to cook in, and bbq on the patio. The inn is a 10 minute walk to Eaton Centre and also accessible by Dundas St tram line. Though other people have said that the area is seedy, we felt safe walking to and from the inn even at early hours of the morning. We highly recommend this beautiful inn and would return on our next visit to Toronto.

In the atmospheric Cabbage Town, famed for its quirky and stunning Victorian architecture, you will find Seaton Street, shaded by majestic trees as old as the houses. The Garden Inn offers an ideal base from which to explore Toronto, a short walk leads you to shops and bars, Allan Gardens, and a bit further gets you to the subway.
It's well managed by friendly inn keepers, comfortable, clean, and full of interesting and elegant furniture. For the price you can't really do better - the breakfast is varied, fresh and wholesome. Plenty of hot water at all times and linen changed frequently.

We had a 3-nights stay in Toronto Garden Inn and it was a very good stay.

A big, clean and confortable room, with a TV and DVD player (and DVD's are available in the common room, which have a computer too) ; a "self-service" breakfast with juices, coffee, milk, a lot of different marmelades, toasts, etc...

This bed and breakfast is very well located! The district is very quiet, but it's near downtown. You can also walk to Eaton Center, CN tower, Hall of fame, etc...

So it's a really good adress!

VERY helpful and efficient staff! An in-town residential neighborhood, charming little older house, bathroom down the hall, not pretentious but very congenial. Over breakfast 4 days, I met Indian students, a Quebec-mexican couple, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. 20 min walk to the Metro Convention Center; an in-town neighborhood in Toronto is NOT threatening the way it might be in the US. BTW, over 50% of Toronto residents are foreign-born. So any part of town is going to be cosmopolitan!

This is a well priced bed and breakfast - good kitchen facilitties with a self help provided breakfast and the option to use the kitchen at other times. There is a good guest lounge with free internet service. However the area is a bit scarey with a lot of "low lifes" hanging around the street around the corner and there are no decent eating places nearby. The neighbouring stores are dirty. We were on the second floor where there is only one shared bathroom and our room the " Mimosa" is fairly small. On the plus side it is within easy walking distance to the main down town area and there is a laundry near by.
