The Toronto Garden Inn is a well located B&B where you have more the feeling of a backpackers hostel than a standard B&B. Breakfast is "do it yourself", for 2 days we haven't seen the owner and the fact that the floors are all wooden makes it a bit noisy especially if you're next to the bathroom. Oh, yes, there are only 2 bathrooms for the whole house being one, well, in the kitchen. Not very nice to have breakfast when someone is in the toilet as you can expect.

Room Tip: Don't choose the Begonia. It's just next to the bathroom and you'll hear every other hos...

Excellent price for the one night I stayed. Very clean and nicely decorated room. Generous attitude to breakfast and in general the common spaces and to check in/out. The breakfast was well equipped and there was a family-style table to eat around and meet the other lodgers. Friendly and chatty owner who hung out gave advice to the different travellers on travel-plans. The B&B is located near the old cabbage town which is a ´happening´ area and is also walking distance from the center. Overall a nice and homely stay. Only downside was that I had the room near the shared bath-room and it got a bit noisy late in the evening and early morning.

Room Tip: Avoid the room near the bathroom/shower

Very nice and useful for the location in Toronto. You could visit all places in Toronto downtown by walk from the Garden Inn. Rooms are very comfortable and the air-conditioner works well - essential in summer. Breakfast is well provided. And the owner is very helpful.

We had a fabulous time at TGI. It's comfortable and beautiful, and it feels like home. It was very tempting to stay in the hotel all day instead of sightseeing! Just a wonderful experience.

I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone that is looking for a great place to stay in Toronto. Clean, comfortable rooms with a charming decor! We stayed two nights in July while traveling to and from Montreal, and were welcomed by Bryan (manager) with warm hello and interesting conversations on the back patio. Thank you Bryan! You are an awesome host! You made our stay in Toronto very pleasurable and we will definitely come back to Toronto Garden Inn next time we plan our trip to Toronto.

While being in Toronto for a language training I stayed at the Garden Inn for 2 weeks. I really enjoyed my stay there, because the place is clean, breakfast selection is really good and Bryan the new host is very friendly and helps whenever needed. If I ever come back to Toronto I will for sure stay at the Garden Inn again.
