“Slow service and undefined food”
Reviewed June 15, 2014 via mobile

We went there one mid-afternoon Saturday. Not busy but service was slow; over 45 minutes to get our order and not even a whit of recognition of this from the staff. The food was mediocre at best with a pile of greens provided that looked like someone was emptying out a bunch of leftovers from their garden. Certainly over priced for what was provided.

“Best beet juice!”
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

I've been to The Beet a few times and it's been delicious every time. I tried the 'Beet It' juice last time and it was very good! Never thought I would enjoy a beet drink.
I've tried the Bison burger (gluten free) and the BBQ chicken wrap (gluten free), both really good. The servings are on the smaller side for the price you are paying, but it's definitely worth it for the freshness and quality of the meat and veggies they use.
It does get busy for dinner time, so make a reservation.

“Great Food matched by Great Service.”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

This place is now one of mine and my girlfriends favourite places. She is vegetarian and I'm not so often one of us has to make a sacrifice when we go out to eat. Im happy to report that this place caters excellently for both of us. The freshness of the food is evident in the taste. Some meals can be a little on the pricey side but in our opinion its worth paying a little extra for quality. Also the service is first class, on one occasion a member of the staff approached us after we had ordered and apologized for the wait time, we hadn't even considered it an unusually long wait time. He offered us a free smoothie or coffee of our choice as way of apology. Great service such as this stays long in the memory.

“Quality, Quality, Quality”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

You can tell the operators care about feeding the body with the most natural foods that mother nature can offer just by studying the menu. Not only do the menu offering sounds great, the preparation of the meals match the quality of the ingredients. Service is friendly and professional in a small homey environment. Expect to pay a bit more for your meal, but your health is worth more than the small amount extra you pay. As an added benefit to the health aspect of the food is the enhanced taste of the dish from the freshness and higher quality ingredients. Feel grateful if you live in the area and can visit regularly.

“Great Quality Food/Warm Atmosphere”
Reviewed August 19, 2013 via mobile

They happily seated us 10 minutes before closing and gave great service throughout. We had the bison burger and Caesar salad, both of which were of fantastic quality and absolutely delicious. The location is quaint and the ingredients were all healthy with organic, vegan, and gluten free options. Worth the trip to the Junction for lunch or dinner.
