I've eaten at Le Taj over a dozen times since they've opened in February of 2010. I have yet to find something on the menu that I don't like. For those who like spicy, they have plenty of curries to heat up your palate. For those who like it milder, butter chicken or some of the korma options are good alternatives. For those who like heat, any of the Vindaloo's are great to try. The owners Selena and Ali take the time to walk around the dining room to make sure the guests are enjoying themselves and enjoying the food. They are also open to customizing the food to different preferences in order to make it more or less spicy according to your own taste. Do not miss the Naan bread... light and flaky and perfect to soak up the sauces that some with the various meals. A lunch buffet provides diners with a chance to try different things from the menu. Their Sunday brunch is also quite good with eggs made to order and a ham carving station. This is a great little gem, tucked away in a shopping plaza and it could easily be overlooked. The fact that it is locally owned and operated is also a welcome change from the usual franchise food found in Timmins. I highly recommend.
