You just have to stop at the marina its so popular in the summer and even in the winter with its skating rink and the splash pad in the summer.Or just pick up a coffee and sit in your vehicle looking out into Lake Superior and think its just 5 minutes from the centre of town. Our local hero the Sleeping Giant looks like you can stretch out your hand and touch him.

“Relaxed way to have a great breakfast or buffet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

We take our parents to breakfast here every Saturday morning. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, the view of Lake Superior is great... and the food is always good.

“Heart of the city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

They marina and area really is a wonderful place to visit it has something for all ages. The kids love the play area. The movies in the park are a great idea free fun for all. The trails with the amazing views of the sleeping giant are great. We love the new water park for splashing in the summer and skating in the winter. The building has change rooms, benches, and a restaurant. The store in the old train station has interesting things. Public boat access. Skateboarding park. Art gallery. And many more things.
