We recently attended a reunion dinner for 43 people, and had a choice of chicken Parmesan or shrimp primavera. The food was cooked to perfection....freshly made buns and dessert. Well done. We found out later that they were short staffed that night but we never even noticed! Great job!

The meal was ok, over easy eggs were definitely not per easy. There was limited staff so we did not recieve part of our meal until we were already leaving and the glasses were so dirty I opted to order a bottles beverage.

The portions were generous and prices good. Quesadilla was the yummiest I've ever tasted! $9.99 for it and Ceasar salad. So full I couldn't try all the amazing homemade pies available for $4.50 or the tarts and cookies. The owner's sister bakes and he cooks. Great combo! Friendly service too. A place you MUST try!

For truckers or anyone else driving through from Manitoba this is a great places to stop and take a break before tackling Thunder Bay and the onward drive East, There's lots are parking and a relaxed atmosphere. You'll find it on the South side of Highway 102 (Dawson Road) just after you pass the M.T.O. scales West of the City. This used to be called Cousins Restaurant and it is much improved from the previous operation. It's an owner operated restaurant and it shows in the way guests are treated and the food served. But bring your appetite the portions are large.
We stopped for a breakfast of french toast made with banana bread (two thick slices), pea-meal bacon and homefries with real maple syrup and not bad coffee. The special of the day and a bargain at the price.
The place seems very clean including the washrooms.
