We thought we would try this restaurant as it was rated highly here. Upon arriving we were told to wait because " we don't know where to put you" despite our reservation. When we were seated and asked about the menu we were quite disappointed with the fact that most things appear to be deep fried and the wine list quite limited. It looked like a beer and fried food place at higher than expected prices. Our waiter did not provide us with much reassurance regarding allergy issues and it seemed that the menu was quite inflexible. We were told the restaurant was busy and that " the less we asked for the more likely we were to get it." By the time our wine was delivered we were prepared to pay for the wine and leave. We told this to our waiter Tony, who appeared quite concerned, and after that everything went quite smoothly. Our salads and meals were excellent and the service attentive. The fish was fresh and well prepared and the veggies they substituted for the French fries excellent. We will likely go again hopefully on a night that is not so busy.
