Road is not great, dusty and if they water it down to prevent dust it is muddy. No entry fee but the view is great on a clear day

Did not bother going all the way up when we had been traveling on dirt road and construction most of the way up and got our rental car all dirty from the dust when we saw the sign that said pay toll ahead we just headed back and did not feel it was worth it.

A beautiful site once you make it to the top. The cost is $5 but the drive up is horrible! So many holes on the road, we actually was worried about vehicle damage. If you wanna see Thunder Bay from a nice, high vantage point, go to the free Terry Fox statue!

The road up to the mountain is HORRIBLE. You're taking your car's suspension on wild ride. Prepare to open your wallet when you get to the top otherwise you have to turn around. Drive a little further to where you park and that's it. That's the mountain. There is a viewing platform but that's about it. The grounds are dirty, often littered with garbage and don't even think of using the porta potty.
The view is spectacular but getting there is a trip in itself.

We drove up and had to pay at a gate that reminded me of a third world country (are we still in Canada??) and then stopped at the parking lot and hiked in. Trails appear not well maintained or non-exsistant, and trash everywhere! If you can find your way to the top the veiws are gorgeous, the air is fresh and it's something to be proud of. Wear very good shoes!
