Excellent service, outstanding food and central location. Five-minute walk to Avon Theatre. Make a reservation so you're not disappointed. Wonderful restaurant.

“Delicious pizzas”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

We ate in the lower-level pizzeria and greatly enjoyed the individual, thin-crust pizzas which come with a variety of topping options. You can either order one of the special pizzas or create your own by choosing toppings from a list provided. There are also some pastas and other entrees available, if you're not in the mood for pizza. Service was helpful and prompt. If you can, go on a night you don't have a play to catch - if you walk in at around 7:15 it will be clearing out and you'll enjoy a relaxed, unhurried meal.

“Excellent Fine Dining!”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Do NOT consider this one more Italian restaurant. It is a fine place drawing upon local foods and produce to create a great menu. Salads and appetizers are excellent. From seafood to steak to poultry, we all enjoyed our fine meals. It offers fine wines with many items by the glass or carafe. Portions are good (not oversized) and service is incredible, given the 8pm schedule for all the patrons to meet the theatre time! The whole place hummed as kitchen, waiters and staff worked together to smoothly get dinner to everyone with time to spare.

There are many surprising taste combinations on the menu, which varies by produce availability, so I cannot comment on one item. Just go, and enjoy!

“Outstanding service”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

We sat at the bar upstairs and had an excellent dinner of salad, pasta, and trout. The highlight was watching the excellent staff deal with the hectic pre-show dinner rush, in particular our server Maddison. This woman worked with calm efficiency, filling the role of sommelier, barrista, dish washer, waiter, bartender, and receptionist. She was pleasant, polite, helpful, and efficient, and provided us with an excellent dinner and show.

“limited menu”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

The menu is rather limited and pricey. I don't understand how an Italian restaurant could not have veal or ravioli on the menu. The wine is pricey. I imagine the downstairs pizza would be a better buy.
