Tour took in 5 establishments, under leadership of a very knowledgable guide, nearly 3 1/2 hours walking, but not strenuous. Guide ensured we were all keeping pace. Shop hosts were all very knowledgable and provided an interesting overview of their business and products, and of course, samples. Each tour is different. A rainy day, shops were very accommodating of umbrellas, etc. Here's a list of what we saw:
Distinctly Tea. - provided a great introduction to many types of teas, and samples of a few. The aroma when you walk in the shop is fantastic!
Olive Your Favorites - a new store only open 10 weeks, when I took the tour. Featuring Olive oils, but also vinegars.
The Milky Whey - features local cheeses, but also imports if the owner believes worth hosting. We sampled several cheeses, and personally think the Montfort Dairy offering was best.
Rhea Thompsons - classic Stratford chocolate shop, which anyone who knows chocolates knows they perfected chocolate mint smoothies.
County Food Company - this had to be the best stop. Not only did they serve us a glass of beer (Dead Elephant I.P.A.) but the chef/ owner crafted made to order plate of sandwiches for us.
