We were very impressed with Acrylic Dreams- great location, comfortable bed, delicious and beautiful breakfast (home made rhubarb and strawberry jam!), too. Karen and Jack are lovely hosts- not too intrusive, yet efficient. The B and B is in good location- walking distance to restaurants (take their advice on where and where not to eat) and the theaters. We had the yellow room, which is the smallest, but it was comfy, cozy. and quite clean. I enjoyed a reflexology treatment as well. We would go back! Thanks very much!

My daugher and I picked Acrylic Dreams as our accomodation as we were impressed by the on the on-site spa-like treatments. When we arrived on Friday night after a long drive in traffic, we first were escorted to our spacious and well appointed room. Then we indulged in the ultimate luxury for two tired travellers---we each had a chair massage and a reflexology treatment. This set a perfect tone for our weekend away.
After a morning walk around town on Saturday, we had a delicious breakfast with lots of fruit, and a tasty egg dish and homemade bake goods. This was followed by a private yoga class for the two of us in our own room. We also had an on-site yoga class on Sunday. We managed to fit in two plays and many walks around the town, especially by the water.
The hosts were friendly and professional, the accomodations were clean and comfortable, the food was superb, and the spa treatments were magnificent.

Just got back this Sunday (9/9/07) from a four-day stay at Acrylic Dreams, a great B and B in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. During our trip we enjoyed four different plays as part of the Stratford Festival. Karen and Jack , the proprieters, are warm, friendly, extremely helpful, funny, excellent cooks (vegetarian breakfasts) and they also are skilled in reflexology and chair massage. I have food allergies and they work so hard to accomodate my special needs with delicious breakfasts - which I really appreciate. The rooms are comfortable and cheerful, their front porch - a great place to sit and read, or as we prefer, to work on crossword puzzles as a group. Jack and Karen are very knowledgeable about the many plays being offered at the Festival and about the local restaurants and places to go and see and where to have fun. This is our 5th year staying with them and we decided this trip that we will continue staying with them until we are all so old that they have to put a ramp in for our various walkers and wheelchairs!!!

We just returned from our very first trip to the Stratford Festival. This house was built in 1879 and is most cozy and quiet. Karen and Jack were extremely accommodating. Each morning at 9:00 a.m. we would enter the dining room shared with other guests to sit down to a gourmet vegetarian breakfast and all the coffee we could drink.

Our room was located on the second level and was most comfortable and quiet.

We delighted in the fact that we could walk downtown to the shops and restaurants as well as to any of the theatres.

We definitely plan to return to Stratford and would stay at Acrylic Dreams on our next trip.

If you are visiting Stratford and want to stay somewhere quiet and beautiful, then look no further than this wonderful B&B. Jack and Karen have made me welcome for the last five years and I will be back for more in 2007. Why do I keep coming back? There are so many reasons, not least is waking to the smell of home cooked muffins, then tucking into a breakfast that is a feast for the eye as well as the palate.

When I arrive, drained from the long flight, Acrylic Dreams is a haven of peaceful calm. Last year, I was thrilled when a hummingbird joined us for breakfast, sucking nectar from a flower in the cottage garden just inches away (we don't get hummingbirds in England.) and black squirrels play tag in tree lined Bay Street (we only get grey ones).

On the practical side, it's an easy walk to all the Stratford theatres and shops and if you've never tried reflexology, it is so good, and you don’t even have to leave the cottage. It's a wonderful relaxed home and they share it with their guests with a flair that, though hard to put into words, is an absolute joy to experience.

I have been here twice (2005 and 2006) and am booked to go again in 2007. This is a lovely casual B&B with 2 friendly hosts. The breakfasts they create are unbelieveable. Every day a delicious creation using lots of freshfruit. It is convenient to all of the venues. Easy walking to town. You are right in a real neigborhood.

This is a truly wonderful Bed and Breakfast. It is in a beautiful cottage on a quiet street in Stratford, yet has all the comforts of home. My friends and I have been coming to Stratford for 6 years and have stayed with Karen and Jack for the last 5, and plan to continue for many more!

The rooms are comfortable, with lovely beds, and ensuite in each room, as well as touches like a small refridgerator, chocolates on the bed and a comfortable porch and sitting room.

Breakfast is always wonderful. My friends have dietary restrictions, and have yet to have a bad meal here. The food is excellent, beautifully presented and plentiful. The dining room is well decorated with original paintings, and costumes and props from some of the plays.

When you are in town for up to two weeks, like we are, it's nice to have a place that is not sterile, but seems like a comfortable place to come home to, and that's what you have here.
