Located on Government road between Queenston Rd and Glendale Rd right beside the Welland Canal this free attraction offers a unique multimedia perspective on the construction and history of the canal. Takes about 30 minutes and if your timing is good you will see one of the lakers pass by close up.

A great place to witness the inner workings of the canal loch system. We had two ships pass through while here. The museum is small but provides a good of the canal and St Catherine's.

I was there for a birthday party in the upstairs hall and we all walked downstairs to check out the museum. It was really nice.

We went to the canal to watch the ships go through the locks. We had no idea that there was a museum. There is no charge for admission, but a voluntary donation. There was a lot of interesting information about the town and other Canadian history.

Went here during March break, they had guided tours going on. The welland canal tour inc talks from historical people that influenced the area and canal! Wonderful idea and kids enjoyed it too!
Also did the archives tour! What great stuff they have there, and the time and effort they put into looking after the exhibits, and recording them,
Great tours!!
