Great museum with lot of bush planes to see.
Lots of free short movies and flying simulations available.
They have done a great job of it!

An interesting place to visit while in Sault Ste. Marie. A very good, 15 minute movie on forest fire fighting, is part of the exhibit. there are several planes that you can go inside.

They had a lot of cool airplanes to look at and even go in. There is information posted by the planes and parts explaining their history. There are a couple videos you can watch at set times as well as a simulator you can go in. There is an interactive area for learning the science surrounding planes and information about women in aviation and a section about forest fires. We were there for an hour and skimmed through it but you could easily spend hours.

The Canadian Bushplane Museum is something that is worth while stopping into see. Its in a hangar that showcases the planes. Many of them you can actually go in which is great for all, not just the kids. The highlight for me was definitely the Wildfire CD video that they play every 30 minutes. It gives a good overview of the amount of fires that actually happen up north and gives a lot of information on their job and the way they put out the fire. Really enjoyed the film. We spent about an hour in the museum which was sufficient for us.
