This hotel may accept Dogs but they shouldn't. The Staff was terrified of my dogs. There was no garbage can to put their pooh bags in, and they stuck us in a 2nd floor room with no elevator, which was tough because their toilet is outside and going up and down those stairs over and over again was exhausting.
The lock on the door was a push button one and wholly inadequate and unsafe.
The place reeked of smoke and skunk. The shower took 10 minutes to adjust. Not only was there no hair dryer the bathroom didn't have a plug for one.
Wouldn't recommend in a million years.
A very comfortable room, very clean, relaxing place to stay in Sarnia...and at a very good price too!
The shower curtain was all moldy and the air conditioner leaked and made a large portion of the carpet wet. Very happy they allow pets and the staff are nice! Needs some updating but worth the price.
We stayed there with my daughter’s soccer team for the Ontario Cup the weekend of July 15. It was the only motel that had space to accommodate 14 families. Our room was fine. We were told at check-in that there was no smoking but the hallways smelled of smoke. So did a number of other rooms. Our room was clean, small and as expected for a 2 star motel. It did have a moldy/mildew smell to it. Our refrigerator did not have a freezer section, only 2 out of the 14 rooms did. The rooms at the back of the motel had their own door straight out to the parking at back. It was nice and covenant when it came to unloading and loading the car.
Our room did have a TV but no DVD player. The bathroom was small, it was OK. My kids loved the shower head and raved about the water pressure. It was advertised on their website that they had BBQ grill and picnic area but they do not. They also offer breakfast voucher for the restaurant next door but when asked at the front desk, I was told they no longer sold those.
The plus side is the free WIFI. I’ve been to more expensive hotels where they charge you for WiFI.
