“Very enjoyable cruise”

Very laid back kind of cruise. The narrative from the captain was quite interesting and very friendly. Take your camera. Took many pictures. Most of them are keepers. Will do again when in the area.

This is a unique historic sight. Beautiful all year round. The museum is interesting too. There is free skating in winter on the canal. Ample parking.

“"Not Your Ordinary Cruise"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

When we decided to take this cruise ,we were not prepared for the great experience this cruise offers. We thought that this cruise would be like most cruises, a nice boat ride site seeing around a lake for about an hour. What a surprise we had when we saw this historic lock, as one reviewer has already said, it is an engineering marvel. Not only do you see this towering structure ,but you also get the experience of going up the lock, this in itself is worth the admission fee. This cruise is not only great for couples but would be a hit for a family travelling with children... If your near Peterborough, its an attraction worth spending your money on.

“Group luncheon cruise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

My small art group always does something special to end our meetings for the summer so we
Decided to drive to Peterborough to do the lunch cruise. There was plenty of parking and
As most of us are seniors the boat was very easy to walk to and embark on and off. The price
Was very reasonable and the food was also better than expected. It isn't a very long ride, just
Enough time to hear the history of the locks and area and to eat a leisurely meal, very
Enjoyable on a nice summer day. And the locks are quite amazing.
