“Great Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

The breakfasts are tasty but don't go if you want a low fat meal. It is traditional breakfasts. The only criticism is the quality of the coffee. Awful.

“Best breakfast buffet!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

Me and my friends has a lot of long night during the summer, but we could always rely on a great breakfast the next morning, and very affordable. They have the best omelettes made right in front of your eyes, the buffet is saturdays and sundays and its only 10 dollars a person.

“Great Food and Atmosphere off the Beaten Track”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

Took the family for sunday dinner based on the revires here. it's well out of town and not much to look at from the outside. Inside is a collection of eclectic tables and chairs and nothing much to look out.

The menu was interesting and there were a number of godd blackboard specisls. Beer is by the bottle and pop by the can and a limited wine list by the bottle, but the value is great. A nice touch was that they brought the kids' meals out quickly so they could get started and not be bored.

We had the liver (really good), the roast beef (excellent), chicken parmesan (really good) and the chicken special (also very good). The owner and chef, Mark, brought out the food and was attentive to everybody there.

If you are looking for fine dining etc. this is probably not for you. If you want good value wholesome food served politely then don't miss this place, and the food is equal to many fancier plces in the area.

“Excellent Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

Our usual Sunday Breakfast diner was full, so we decided to try out something different, and saw the buffet ad out out front of Mark's. We had to wait for about 10 minutes, but on a Sunday morning at 11am, thats not bad at all. Once seated, we were charmed by the decor - its was ecclectic and unique, with mismatched chairs and tables. I really liked it. It was small inside, but quite homey.

The buffet was amazing - waffles and omlettes cooked to order, with a selection of breakfast meats, breads, buns and pastries, as well as fresh fruit. All you can eat - but we barely managed our first platefuls!

It was a little more pricey than our usual breakfast, at $24 for the two of us. However, if we had been hungrier, we probably would have made it worth while!

Overall, it was great and we look forward to going back again sometime!
