Wandered around Elgin and settled on this place for brunch as they have a very nice patio and it was pretty busy, which I decided meant it was good. They had a weekly special as well as the main menu. The staff were friendly, and the price was pretty good for what you got. I had the Grana Padano Scrambled and it was really good.

Great place for a standard brunch . Nothing innovative or trendy just good food with large portions and fair prices . After a wait for a table we were led to a great one right on Elgin . We were surprised how quickly our orders arrived . The home fries are excellent . Not at all greasy . My croissant BLT was good although the croissant was bun like . You even get a small chocolate square with your meal .

It was late on a Sunday afternoon after a long day walking in Gatineau Park, and cooking dinner for ourselves was not on the agenda. Our go-to destination on days like this is the Lieutenant's Pump - the patio if the weather cooperates - where the portions are substantial, the prices reasonable, and the servers treat respectful customers like gold. The list of wines and craft beers is admirable, the Sunday night prime rib special is always a treat, and we invariably go home happy and satiated. If you're looking for pretence-free casual dining at a high level, this is the place to be.

This place is a solid option any day! It's got a great early special on mason jar cocktails before 5:45pm if you're looking for a patio, and becomes one of the better places to go on a Friday or Saturday night. They've got a dance floor and many different seated areas supported by a few bars. This place is great, however they lose appeal and credibility due to their artificially inflated lines. It's incredibly frustrating to wait outside just so that a bar can appear busy, and so my friends and I have just left in the past since we feel our business is ultimately unwanted.

We go fairly regularly with work and the food is always good but it is a little unimaginative and boring. Great for large groups though!
