I was contemplating 4 stars but decided on 5 due to the very friendly service and the fact that the wait staff took the effort to run outside and see if they could return the hat to the young girl that forgot her at the table (as it was -5 the would need it)
The oysters were nice and the combination of hot and cold allowed to try a wide sample, The staff made sure we got them served the way we wanted and explained the sauces and the selections.
The hot dishes were superb with the Wall-eye being tender and light and my mackerel just perfectly balanced the tomato pure enhanced the strong flavour and the Chinese eggplant added a crispy compliment to the skin (overall a very well crafted dish).
The layout is nice but sadly allows a bit more draft than I like (I am sure when it's fill the cool air will be welcome).
