We enjoyed all of the tapas that we tasted. Especially loved the sauce on the kangeroo and the garlic spread but everything was excellent. All the dishes were unique and well plated. Our server was warm, friendly, good sense of humor and informative. The plates did come out slowly - they gave us a free one due to the slowness.

Overall, a great, fun evening!

We tried seven different tapas including kangaroo meat, octopus and scallops. All were delicious. The servers were polite, efficient and informative explaining the ingredients of each course.

We went here on Easter weekend and were greeted by a friendly, polite and extremely professional server ( possibly the owner). He set out and explained the menu, some favourite dishes and joined in on our fun and banter.

The restaurant decor is lovely, the music just right but the food was tremendous. The pitta bread and hummus dip is a must, along with the Greek sausage and open faced chicken! Infact, every single round of food was amazing. Enjoy finding your own!

Well priced, amazing food, fantastic service. We will be back here next time in Ottawa.

My wife and I dropped into Aroma Meze on Good Friday, not expecting it to be open. To our surprise, we were greeted at the door by a server who turned out to be the new owner. We chose five dishes from the diverse menu, along with a sampler of five dips and lightly buttered pita to start us out and a bottle of wine. The greek sausage came first, followed by the three cheese seafood full of tender seafood - sumptuous. The phyllo pastry platter arrived and disappeared quickly. Open faced chicken skewers were next and were tender and full of flavour. And finally, two huge scallops (with a hold on the Vermouth) came. They were the most tender and flavourful I've ever had. The wine was a special Ella Valley red that was well balanced for this eclectic meal. As we savoured this well-paced meal, others arrived and settled in for a great meal. We started planning our next visit with friends to celebrate finding this new favourite. Excellent meal, attentive service, diverse selection, a day to remember. One of our most enjoyable meals.

My husband and I went for dinner and did not leave disappointed. We had the tomatoe fritters, zucchini cakes, cheese baked seafood, pan seared scallops with wasabi caviar, lobster tails, fish tacos, lamb tacos, camel tenderloin with foie gras and black truffle, and the to die for lamb poutine! We also had the baklava ice cream and the orange sorbet. We left with our stomachs full!!! We had also ordered a tomatoe baked rice but when we started slowing down on the meal and mentioned to the waiter that we were getting really full, he canceled our other items for us and told the kitchen not to fire them! That's great service because at many other restaurant, they fire the food anyways so that they can charge you for it. This is by far on of the best tapas/meze/small plates places we have been to. Not crazy expensive like Play or Side Door and an elaborate menu that has us wanting to go back to try everything else. I think there were maybe 50+ items on the menu, which is rare for a tapas place. The atmosphere was also very nice and romantic. Also a great place to take my gluten free friends with all the GF items on the menu! Can't wait to go back!!!
