On Saturday night we had the pleasure of eating here as our host frequents this restaurant. It was packed with local, repeat clients - no room for drop-ins & many were turned away. The tourists use the Byward Market restaurant (and I heard from different people at the Chateau Laurier where we were staying that the food was great there too). Our staff was all attentive, professional and friendly all at the same time. The 4 of us ordered different meals & each was perfectly prepared. I tried to gauge from expressions and comments of our party which was the best meal of the the halibut, veal, or steak we ate but it was impossible - we each loved our own meal. We began the meal with a share-plate of antipasto and one order of bruschetta and it was ample for 4. Lucky you if you have a chance to eat here!
