Four of us dined at Signatures on Wednesday night, this being the time when the restaurant has a table d'hôte for about $100, a couple, including a bottle of wine. Two had decided to have this menu and two decided for the a la carte. We were informed we all had to have the same, either the table d'hôte or the a la carte. This was a disappointment but we opted for the 4-course table d'hôte. The first course was a marinated tuna, I was not wild about, the others thought it was okay. The second was a very nice clam chowder soup. Third was a bison filet a little tough but okay and the dessert was mediocre. The wine was a Portuguese red, and for the price, was acceptable. We were also disappointed with the fact that although this is supposed to be a restaurant of fine dining, there was a family with a small child, which in order to keep happy, they took turns parading it around the room. I am not adverse to children in a restaurant but in this case, we were supposed to be dining fine and I felt this was not an appropriate for a small child. All in all, our evening was a big disappointment.
